Valkenburg aan de Geul – naar aanleiding van de oproep van minister-president Mark Rutte om na te denken over de 1,5 meter samenleving, is Huis ter Geul klaar om gasten te ontvangen met deze voorzorgsmaatregelen. Zowel voor de medewerkers als voor onze gasten zijn wij druk bezig geweest met de aanpassingen in ons hotel zodat u en onze veiligheid gewaarborgd blijft.

De afgelopen weken hebben de medewerkers van Huis ter Geul niet stilgezeten. Om de gasten zo veilig mogelijk te kunnen ontvangen en risico’s op besmetting tot een minimum te beperken. Maar ook is er gedacht aan de inrichting van het hotel om volledig te voldoen aan alle nodige voorzorgsmaatregelen. Huis ter Geul stelt u bij aankomst een aantal gezondheidsvragen (triage) waarna u van harte welkom bent. Wij mogen u daarna op gepaste afstand benaderen om u zo goed mogelijk van dienst te kunnen zijn. U als gast dient zoveel mogelijk op 1,5 meter afstand van elkaar kunnen blijven tenzij u uit 1 huishouden komt. Alleen zo kunnen wij u de gastvrijheid bieden die u van ons gewend bent. Deze nieuwe situatie vraagt om vereiste aanpassingen en herziene procedures in ons hotel en restaurant, maar ook om de flexibiliteit van onze medewerkers om op andere wijze te werk te gaan. Op deze manier wordt de veiligheid en gezondheid van zowel onze medewerkers als onze gasten zoveel mogelijk gewaarborgd. Wij verzoeken u dan ook om te allen tijde  zelf uw verantwoordelijkheid te nemen en de aanwijzingen van onze medewerkers op te volgen.

Welcome at Grand Café Hotel Huis ter Geul. Grand Café Hotel Huis ter Geul is a peaceful and atmospheric hotel located near the city center of Valkenburg aan de Geul - Maastricht in the Amsterdam mountain district. Our rooms are spacious and have their own television, safe, sink, toilet and shower. All our rooms are non-smoking. Our hotel also has an elevator.

In Huis ter Geul you're guaranteed of a pleasant stay and you can book a room for any occasion. Our hotel is all about the hospitality that Limburg is known for, which shows in the personal attention we give to each of our guests. Huis ter Geul is the ideal pace for a relaxing holiday or as a safe haven after a busy day.

Our restaurant has a spacious and cozy hall for a maximum of 150 guests. The hall will be decorated and organized in accordance with your wishes.
Renting the hall will cost € 85.00 per event. The rent expires when you spend more than € 100.00.

The Quark template fully uses LESS language for generating the CSS files of the template. Thanks to the built-in LESS parser you can forget about additional LESS compilers - if you enable the template built in compiler then after every change in the template less files you will get new css files.

The LESS language features are described in the official documentation page.

Please remember that if you decide to modify the *.css files you shouldn't enable the LESS parser - after enabling it you will lose your CSS changes - it will be overwriten by the code based on the not modified *.less files.

The LESS compiler can be enabled under the template advanced settings:

Please remember that the LESS parser should be enabled only while you are editing your LESS files - it needs relatively big amount of server resources and will cause slower page loading time. That's why please remember to disable the LESS compiler after finishing the *.less files modifications.

The LESS files are located under the less directory. Most of the files are loaded inside the main.less file which transform into the template.css file. Thanks to that we have limited amount of the CSS files request while you still have separate files like template.less, gk.stuff.less, k2.less etc.

The most important feature is fact that you can change easily the template colors and font-sizes using one file - variables.less. This file contains a variables with basic colors and font-sizes used inside the template CSS code. By changing one variable i.e. @primary_color, you can change the whole template colors.
